This course introduces theories in the area of communication systems. Topics covered include the basic elements of communications, signal analysis, amplitude modulation, angle modulations and digital modulations, as well as transmission channels and noise impact on the modulation system. Finally, some emergence of digital communication technologies are presented and compared. 

At the end of this course student should be able to:

 CO 01: Analyze and differentiate analog modulation and demodulation techniques (C)

 CO 02: Apply the knowledge of communication theory and techniques in wireless and mobile communication systems (C)

  CO 03: Analyze different types of digital transmission and digital modulation techniques. (C4)

  CO 04:  Use and apply modern computational techniques and tools to measure the parameters for analog and digital communication system (P)
